A few shots of the Shosholoza Meyl Trans-Karoo heading from Beaufort West to Cape Town pulled by a pair of 6E1s. I never seem to be able to get passenger trains with locos in the Shosholoza Meyl liveries. Last photo is of Rovos Rail leaving Kimberley.

Hi there, im Reese Lourens from Beaufort-West and I really like your work! My father was a train driver, his best friend was a train driver, his two nabours are shunters, my brothers girlfriend’s father is a signalman , my nephew is a train driver (6E, 7E, Class 34-000, 35-000, 36-000 diesels, 18E and he also drives the new 20E and 21E loco’s). Trains were very popular when i was still very young and I even saw a 4E locomotive at night about 6 years ago at my Father’s workshop!! Please keep up the good work and post more!! I’ll be there if you reply or post some,, ill be happy to look at it!
